Chelsea Handler

Chelsea Handler is a cool bitch. And no one knows who she is. I hate E! network as much as the next lass, but she has a nightly 30 minute show, and it's perfection. It's is a 4 part formula: monologue, current events discussion with a rotating "roundtable" of comedians, short guest interview with D list celebrities, and a schtick segment - usually with her "little nugget" assistant Chuy (pronounced choo-ee).

She was born in Jersey to a Jew and a Mormon. She's obsessed with Jenny Garth. She wrote a book titled "Are you there vodka, it's me, Chelsea". She mocks the overused term "vajayjay" and refers to her lady parts as a "Pikachu". She constantly plugs her stand up appearances in unheard of towns. Her jokes are just pretty funny, but her crass wit and "holy shit I can't believe this is happening" looks in the camera are TOP NOTCH. Her ability to navigate interviews with the ridiculous guests she's stuck with, while balancing professionalism and a touch of contempt is uncanny. I'm pretty sure she selects her own wardrobe.

I hope she does well in life. Little girls need role models.
